Censor Board Approves Vijay Sethupathi's "Maharaja" and Certified as U/A.

On Monday, the creators of Vijay Sethupathi's \"Maharaja\" announced that the film has received a U/A certificate from the censors. Directed by Nithilan Saminathan, \"Maharaja\" is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 14.

\"Maharaja\" is Vijay Sethupathi's 50th film. Nithilan, who directed the movie, also wrote the dialogues with Raam Murali. The trailer, released earlier, shows Vijay Sethupathi playing a salon owner who goes to a police station to report someone named 'Lakshmi' missing. When he says that Lakshmi is neither a valuable item nor a person, the police are left confused.

\"Maharaja\" also features Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, and Natty Natraj in key roles, along with Abhirami, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Boys Manikandan, Singam Puli, Bharathiraja, Kalki, Vinod Sagar, and Sachana Namidass.

\"Maharaja\" is produced by Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios and Jagadish Palanisamy of The Route. Dinesh Purushothaman filmed the film, B Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music, and Philomin Raj edited it.
