Trivia
- The film was originally titled 'Mickey' and was shot in 2005, but its release was delayed until 2009.
- It was the only Hindi film directed by Glen Barreto, who was primarily a cinematographer for movies like 'Darna Mana Hai'.
- Actor Aftab Shivdasani, who plays the adult Mickey, was 30 years old during filming, playing a character magically aged from 12 to 23.
- The movie's plot of a child magically becoming an adult is similar to the Hollywood film 'Big', but it adds a family drama adoption twist.
- Despite being a family fantasy film, it had a very limited theatrical release and is now mostly remembered as a obscure DVD-era title.
- Child actor Darsheel Safary, famous from 'Taare Zameen Par', was considered for the lead role before it went to new actor Aryan Vaid.
- Parts of the film were shot in scenic locations in Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar, known as hill stations in Maharashtra.
