Trivia

  • The film's title is a playful twist on a popular Hindi phrase 'Bachke Rehna', which means 'be careful' or 'stay alert'.
  • This was the only film directed by Govind Menon, who previously worked as an assistant director on several projects.
  • Mallika Sherawat's character name, Padmini, is the same as her character in her debut film 'Khwahish' (2003).
  • The movie faced delays in release and underwent last-minute edits, which some reports linked to its underwhelming box office performance.
  • Rekha and Paresh Rawal, both known for powerful performances, shared screen space for the first and only time in this film.
  • Despite being a comedy-drama, the film incorporates elements of thriller and con-artist genres, which was uncommon for Bollywood at the time.
  • The soundtrack included a remix of the classic song 'Bachke Rehna Re Baba' from the 1955 film 'Bhai-Bhai', giving it a modern twist.
