→Trivia
- The film's title 'Janasheen' was inspired by a Persian word meaning 'life lover' or 'one who loves life'.
- Feroz Khan not only directed and starred in the film but also designed the costumes for the lead actors.
- The movie was shot in multiple countries including Australia, India, and Switzerland, which was unusual for Bollywood at the time.
- Fardeen Khan, who played the lead, performed his own stunts in several action sequences without a body double.
- The soundtrack featured a remix of the classic song 'Aap Jaisa Koi' from the 1980 film 'Qurbani', also directed by Feroz Khan.
- Despite mixed reviews, the film was noted for its stylish visuals and high production values compared to other 2003 releases.
- Celina Jaitly made her Bollywood debut with this film after winning the Miss India Universe title in 2001.
