Storyline
A corrupt politician controls both the city's government and its criminal underworld. An escaped convict, who confessed to killing her husband, is hunted by police and brutally beaten by a vengeful prison warden. With help from friends and a journalist, she tries to uncover the truth behind her husband's death and find her missing sister-in-law while evading capture.
