Trivia

- This was one of the early films where actor Bobby Deol played a double role, portraying both Chander and his lookalike.
- Director Indra Kumar, known for comedies like 'Ishq' and 'Dil', attempted a more serious romantic thriller with this project.
- The movie faced criticism for its plot similarities to the Hollywood film 'The Net', though it was not an official remake.
- Actress Karisma Kapoor's character name, Pooja, was the same as her role in the blockbuster 'Raja Hindustani' a few years earlier.
- Despite a popular soundtrack, the film was not a major commercial success at the box office upon its release.
- The supporting cast included veteran actor Mohnish Bahl as the antagonist, a departure from his usual softer roles.
