Baadshah(1999)
Baadshah is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language crime comedy film directed by Abbas-Mustan. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan as Raj Babulal Rai, a struggling detective who calls himself Baadshah, and Twinkle Khanna as Seema Malhotra, a CBI agent. The supporting cast includes Amrish Puri as the villain Suraj Singh Thapar, Johnny Lever as Raj's assistant Ramlal, and Rakhee Gulzar as Chief Minister Gayatri Bachchan. The story follows Raj as he gets mistaken for a secret agent and becomes entangled in a plot to assassinate the Chief Minister. The film is loosely based on the 1995 American film Nick of Time. Shah Rukh Khan earned a Filmfare nomination for Best Performance in a Comic Role for his performance. The soundtrack, composed by Anu Malik, was well received. The film was released on 27 August 1999 and grossed ₹31.60 crore worldwide.

Storyline
Raj is a small-time detective in Bombay. He dreams of a big case. He gets mistaken for a secret CBI agent. Now he must stop a rich businessman from killing the Chief Minister of Goa. He has no training and no backup. But he has a lot of luck and a good heart. Can he save the day and win the girl he loves?
