Trivia
- The film was originally planned as a launch vehicle for a new actor, but the role eventually went to established star Dharmendra.
- Director Aziz Sejawal was primarily known for comedy films, making this action drama a departure from his usual style.
- The movie's climax was shot in a single schedule at a remote fort location to maintain secrecy and control costs.
- A popular hit song from the film, 'Dil Le Gayi Kudi Gujarat Di', was actually a recreated version of a older Punjabi folk tune.
- Despite being a typical 90s action film, it underperformed at the box office compared to other Dharmendra releases from that era.
- The script went through several rewrites to incorporate more dramatic scenes for the supporting cast of character actors.
- Some action sequences were inspired by popular Hollywood films of the early 1990s, adapted for a local setting.
