Trivia

  • The film's title 'Aadmi Khilona Hai' is a line from a popular song in the 1971 film 'Mera Naam Joker'.
  • Director J. Om Prakash frequently collaborated with actor Jeetendra, having directed him in over a dozen films.
  • This was one of the few films where Govinda played a more subdued, dramatic role early in his career, before his comedy star image was solidified.
  • The movie's soundtrack, composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal, did not produce any major chartbusters unlike many of their other scores from that era.
  • Actress Meenakshi Sheshadri took a break from films shortly after this release, before retiring from Bollywood in 1995.
  • The plot revolves around the social stigma of infertility, a sensitive topic rarely addressed directly in mainstream Hindi cinema of the early 90s.
  • The film performed modestly at the box office, overshadowed by bigger action and romance hits of 1993 like 'Aankhen' and 'Darr'.
