→Trivia
- The film's title characters are named after real-life small-time criminals from Bihar known for their kidnapping exploits.
- Director Subhash Kapoor initially planned to make a serious film on honor killings but later infused dark comedy into the script.
- Ronit Roy's menacing character, Billu Pahalwan, was partly inspired by a controversial political figure from Haryana.
- The movie was shot extensively in Punjab, including locations in Patiala, to capture the rustic North Indian setting.
- Despite starring established actors, the film had a modest theatrical release with around 800 screens in India.
- Amit Sadh and Arshad Warsi performed most of their own stunts, including the chaotic chase sequences in the climax.
- The soundtrack features a folk-based song, "Daru Desi," which became more popular than the film itself.
