Storyline
Two cousins from North India, Rangeela and Guddu, play in an orchestra but look for easy money. They get information from local gangsters and kidnap a woman named Baby for a large ransom. Their plan gets complicated when a powerful politician, Billu Pahalwan, enters the scene and changes the game.

- The film's title characters are named after real-life small-time criminals from Bihar known for their kidnapping exploits.
- Director Subhash Kapoor initially planned to make a serious film on honor killings but later infused dark comedy into the script.
