Storyline

Murugan falls for his classmate Amudha, but her family rejects him and forces him to leave his village. Years later, he unexpectedly meets her again in Chennai, and their friendship turns into love. When Amudha returns home, she finds she is being forced to marry another man, but they eventually win her father's approval to be together.
