Trivia

  • The film was shot in just 28 days on a very low budget, which was unusual for a thriller at that time.
  • Director Ameer also played a small role as a police officer in the movie.
  • The story was partly inspired by a real-life unsolved murder case that Ameer had read about.
  • The film's climax was shot in a single, continuous 10-minute take, which was a technical challenge.
  • It was one of the early films to use a handheld camera style extensively to create a gritty, realistic feel.
  • The movie was not a major box office hit initially but later gained a strong cult following on television.
  • Actor Jeevan, who played the villain, was primarily known for comedic roles before this film.
