Trivia

  • This was the only Tamil film directed by veteran Hindi actor Raj Kapoor, not to be confused with the legendary Bollywood showman of the same name.
  • The film's title translates to 'Endless Affection', reflecting its core theme of selfless love and sacrifice.
  • Actress Roja, who played Meena, was primarily known for her work in Telugu cinema and this was one of her notable Tamil roles during that period.
  • The movie's soundtrack, composed by Deva, featured a hit romantic duet 'Kannukkul Nooru Nilava' sung by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and K. S. Chithra.
  • The plot involving the kidnapping of a child to force a marriage was considered a bold and dramatic narrative for a late 1990s Tamil romance film.
  • Despite the dramatic storyline, the film did not perform well commercially, fading quickly from theaters after its release.
