→Trivia
- The film's working title was 'Time Loop' before being changed to 'Anugrahan', which means 'blessing'.
- Director Sundar Krish reportedly studied classic 80s and 90s Tamil father-son dramas for the emotional tone.
- The young lead actor had to learn a slightly different Tamil dialect to match the film's past-era setting.
- A key fantasy sequence uses practical light effects instead of full CGI to feel more magical.
- The movie's score incorporates a traditional instrument called the 'nadaswaram' during emotional moments.
- Parts of the childhood flashbacks were filmed in a rarely used heritage school building in Madurai.
- The script was partly inspired by the director's own conversations with his father about his past.
