Trivia
- The film's director, Navin Chandra Ganesh, is a first-time feature filmmaker who previously directed award-winning short documentaries on rural Indian life.
- To prepare for their roles, the lead actors spent a month living in a village in Bihar to learn local Bhojpuri dialects and observe daily life.
- The dance sequences in the film blend traditional Bhojpuri folk styles with contemporary hip-hop, choreographed by a team from Mumbai and Patna.
- The movie was shot on location in real villages in Bihar and in Mumbai's crowded chawls to capture authentic settings.
- A key scene where Reshma adopts a male persona was inspired by historical and folk narratives of women disguising themselves for safety.
- The film's soundtrack uses original folk instruments like the 'dholak' and 'bansuri' mixed with modern electronic music.
- Despite its 2025 release, the project was first announced in 2022 and faced delays due to funding challenges and location permissions.
