  • The movie's title 'Dug Dug' is an onomatopoeia for the sound of a motorcycle engine.
  • It premiered at the 2021 International Film Festival of Rotterdam before its release in India.
  • The film uses a minimalist soundtrack to heighten the eerie and absurd tone of the story.
  • Despite its small scale, it received positive reviews for its sharp satire on blind faith and superstition.
