Trivia
- The film was shot in the small town of Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu, giving it a distinct South Indian visual feel.
- It was director Hassan Nazer's first Hindi-language film after previously working in Iranian and British cinema.
- The young actress playing Krishna, Hiral Radadiya, was selected from over 500 children during an extensive audition process.
- The movie's original score uses traditional folk instruments like the 'dholak' and 'bansuri' to reflect the rural setting.
- Despite its 2022 release, the film had a very limited theatrical run and gained more attention on streaming platforms.
- A key scene where Krishna sells peanuts was filmed using local street vendors as background actors for authenticity.
- The story is loosely inspired by real accounts of street children in India, as noted in some director interviews.
