Trivia
- The film was shot entirely on location in a single neighborhood in Bhopal, using natural light to capture the feeling of a quiet evening.
- The director cast a real-life retired couple with no prior acting experience to play Supriya and Kishore, aiming for authenticity.
- The character Bittu's dialogue was partly improvised based on workshops with young local theater actors from Madhya Pradesh.
- The movie's title is a reference to a line from a famous Hindi poem about reflection and aging, though it is never spoken aloud in the film.
- The entire film was edited to have no background music, relying only on ambient sounds to build its mood.
- It premiered at a small film festival in Kerala before its limited theatrical release in central India.
- The director stated the story was inspired by watching his own aunt and uncle adjust to a younger relative moving in.
