Trivia

  • The film's title is a playful nod to a popular Hindi phrase used to emphasize something as completely finished or dead.
  • Director Pratul Gaikwad reportedly drew inspiration from classic British farces for the film's escalating comedic confusion.
  • The apartment tower set was a detailed, custom-built construction to allow for the complex physical comedy sequences.
  • This was one of the first major Hindi films to have its world premiere at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in South Korea.
  • A minor subplot involving a missing pet parrot was almost entirely improvised by the actors during filming.
  • The film's score uses a theremin, an electronic instrument, to create a quirky, otherworldly sound for the ghostly scenes.
  • Despite its crime-comedy genre, the script originally had a darker tone before rewrites emphasized the romantic and farcical elements.
