Trivia

  • The film's director, S.M. Mohammed Azarudeen, is also a practicing lawyer, making this a unique dual-career debut.
  • The specific birth detail for the sacrifices—June 6, 1996, at 6:06 AM—references the 'Number of the Beast' (666) from the Bible's Book of Revelation.
  • Principal photography was completed in a notably short schedule, wrapping major portions within a single month.
  • The movie's title character, Luci, is a shortened form of Lucifer, a common name for the devil in Christian tradition.
  • This is one of the very few Tamil films to explicitly center its plot around modern satanic worship and ritual sacrifice.
  • The film was independently produced with a relatively small budget, relying heavily on practical effects for its horror scenes.
  • Despite its horror themes, the director has stated the core plot is an imaginary story with no intent to promote any beliefs.
