Trivia

  • The film was shot entirely in Chennai over just 18 days, using a minimal crew to keep the production lean.
  • Director Abijith Jay also composed the film's background score, handling multiple key creative roles himself.
  • The story was partly inspired by real-life observations of youth and addiction shared in online support forums.
  • Many of the outdoor scenes were filmed guerrilla-style without formal permits to capture authentic street life.
  • The numberless phone, a central plot device, was a last-minute addition suggested during the script's final draft.
  • The film's limited theatrical run was self-funded by the director after facing rejections from traditional producers.
  • Post-production, including color grading, was done remotely with technicians collaborating from different cities.
