Storyline
Krishnamma and her tutor Pozhikarayan fall in love. After he leaves for work, she marries another man, Duraipandi, who later sends her away for not having children. Back home, Krishnamma reunites with Pozhikarayan and becomes pregnant, leading to a violent reaction from her husband and a tragic end during childbirth.
