• For 'Pariyerum Perumal', director Mari Selvaraj was initially unsure about casting Kalaiyarasan. Anandhi personally vouched for him, telling the director he was the only one who could play the friend. That trust sealed the deal.
• In 'Pariyerum Perumal', Anandhi’s character Jo was the emotional anchor, but Kalaiyarasan’s character was the one who kept the story grounded. Anandhi later said in an interview that Kalaiyarasan’s intensity on set made her cry in a scene for real — and they kept that take.
• During the shoot of the 2018 'Titanic', the two actors developed a running joke: they’d call each other 'Jack' and 'Rose' even off-camera. Kalaiyarasan once gifted Anandhi a small plastic heart pendant as a gag — she still has it.
