• They first met on the set of Attakathi (2012), but they didn't share a single scene together. Yogi Babu was a junior artist; Kalaiyarasan was the lead. They only properly bonded years later on Pariyerum Perumal (2018), where Yogi Babu had a proper role.
• In Pariyerum Perumal (2018), Kalaiyarasan played the intense, brooding lead while Yogi Babu provided the comic relief as his friend. But here's the trick: Yogi Babu's jokes never undercut the film's serious caste-discrimination theme.
