• Robo Shankar and Chaams first shared screen space in Si3 (2017) because director Hari wanted a fresh comic duo to bounce off each other in the film's police station sequences. Neither had worked together before, and Hari reportedly paired them on a hunch after seeing their individual improv reels.
• In Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen (2017), Chaams played the straight man to Robo Shankar's hyperactive sidekick. The trick was that Chaams deliberately slowed his delivery by half a beat, letting Robo Shankar's rapid-fire lines land harder. Robo Shankar later said Chaams 'gave me the silence I needed to be loud.'
• During the shoot of Yutha Satham (2022), Robo Shankar and Chaams shared a hotel room in Chennai for three weeks because the production budget was tight. They spent nights rewriting each other's dialogue on napkins, and Chaams taught Robo Shankar how to play the mouth organ between takes.
