• Nagarjuna personally called Rao Ramesh to offer him the role of his on-screen father in Devadas (2018). Ramesh was surprised because he usually plays older characters, but Nagarjuna insisted he had the right energy for the part.
• In Manmadhudu 2 (2019), Rao Ramesh’s deadpan delivery forced Nagarjuna to tone down his usual flamboyance. Nagarjuna later said Ramesh’s stillness made him work harder on his reactions instead of mugging for the camera.
