• Soundararaja and Aruldoss first shared screen space in Dharma Durai (2016) because director Seenu Ramasamy specifically wanted two actors who could play brothers with a raw, rural intensity. He cast them together without any prior screen test — he just knew their faces fit the village.
• In Sathriyan (2017), Soundararaja played the calm, calculating villain while Aruldoss played the hot-headed enforcer. Their scenes worked because Soundararaja would deliberately slow his dialogue delivery, forcing Aruldoss to match his pace — creating a tense, coiled rhythm that made their confrontations feel real.
