• Director E. Satti Babu cast Allari Naresh and Khayyum together for the first time in 'Blade Babji' (2008) because he wanted a fresh comic pair — Naresh was already known for comedy, but Khayyum was still finding his footing. The gamble paid off enough for them to reunite twice more.
• In 'Kevvu Keka' (2013), Khayyum played the straight man to Naresh's manic energy. Naresh would improvise lines on set, and Khayyum would react in real time — no retakes, just one-take scenes. The director later said Khayyum's deadpan saved Naresh from going overboard.
• During the shoot of 'Kulu Manali' (2012), Naresh and Khayyum shared a room in a small lodge near Araku Valley. They reportedly spent nights rewriting the script's comedy track together, cutting each other's lines to make the other funnier.
• Khayyum once said in an interview: 'Naresh doesn't act with you — he acts at you. You have to duck and then throw the ball back. That's why our scenes look like a tennis match.'
• The pair's third film 'Kevvu Keka' (2013) was the first Telugu film to feature a full-length spoof of the 'Baahubali' pre-release hype — a year before the actual film released. That spoof scene was written specifically for Naresh and Khayyum to riff off each other.
