• L.B. Sriram was a theatre veteran with zero film experience when Allari Naresh personally recommended him to director Krish for Gamyam (2008). Naresh had seen Sriram in a stage play and insisted he was the only one who could play the tribal elder.
• In Gamyam, Naresh deliberately slowed down his usual comic timing to match Sriram's measured, earthy delivery. Sriram later said Naresh told him on set: 'You don't have to act like me. Your silence is funnier than my jokes.'
• The success of Gamyam directly launched L.B. Sriram as a go-to character actor in Telugu cinema. Before that film, he was an unknown stage actor. After it, he got calls for 15+ films in the next year alone — all because Naresh vouched for him.
• On the sets of Thotti Gang (2002), Naresh and Sriram shared a room in a cheap lodge because the film's budget was so tight. They'd rehearse scenes at 2 AM while eating packets of salted peanuts. Sriram still calls that lodge 'our acting school.'
