• In Blade Babji (2008), Naresh played the straight man to Krishna Bhagawan's manic energy. Bhagawan would improvise entire monologues on set, and Naresh would react in real time — no retakes. The director said they shot most scenes in one take because of this rhythm.
• During the shoot of Bommana Brothers Chandana Sisters (2008), Naresh and Bhagawan shared a room in a small lodge in Rajahmundry for 45 days. They played cards every night with the junior artists. Bhagawan later said Naresh owed him ₹2,000 from those games.
• Before Blade Babji, Krishna Bhagawan was mostly a stage actor in Kakinada. Naresh personally called him after watching a play and said, 'I want you to be my brother in my next film.' That call changed Bhagawan's career trajectory.
• The success of their double-act in Bommana Brothers Chandana Sisters directly inspired director E. Satti Babu to cast them again in Kathi Kantha Rao (2010). That film later became a cult hit in Bhojpuri dubbing circuits, introducing both actors to a new audience outside Telugu states.
• Krishna Bhagawan once said in an interview: 'Naresh doesn't act with you. He listens to you. That's rare. Most heroes want to dominate the scene. He let me fly.'
