• Jagapathi Babu was initially hesitant to play the villain in Aravindha Sametha (2018) because he didn't want to be typecast. Naveen Chandra personally convinced him over a phone call, saying the role would redefine his career. It did.
• In Maharshi (2019), Naveen Chandra played Jagapathi Babu's younger self in flashback scenes. They never shared a single frame together in the film, but Naveen studied Jagapathi's body language from old interviews to match his walk and hand gestures perfectly.
• Their face-off in Aravindha Sametha's climax became a template for how Telugu action films staged hero-villain confrontations in the next three years. At least five major 2020-2021 films directly copied the 'slow walk into frame' shot they used.
