• Nassar was the one who suggested Rakul Preet Singh for the female lead in Dhruva (2016). He had just worked with her in a Tamil film and told director Surender Reddy she'd be perfect for the role.
• In Manmadhudu 2 (2019), Nassar played Rakul's on-screen father. Their real-life comfort from Dhruva made the father-daughter scenes feel natural — Rakul later said Nassar would quietly adjust his dialogue delivery to match her rhythm, making her look better in every take.
• On the sets of Konda Polam (2021), shot in remote forest locations, Nassar and Rakul would share meals together every evening. Rakul later revealed that Nassar cooked his own special Kerala-style fish curry for the crew, and she'd always save him a seat.
