• Salman Khan personally recommended Raveena Tandon for the lead in Patthar Ke Phool (1991) after seeing her in a small role. The director, Anant Balani, was initially hesitant because she was new, but Salman insisted she had the right 'innocent yet fiery' look for the part.
• In Andaz Apna Apna (1994), Salman and Raveena built their comic timing by deliberately playing against each other's energy. Salman would go broad and loud, so Raveena responded with deadpan, slow reactions — a rhythm they never rehearsed, just discovered on set.
• Dus (1997) was supposed to be their biggest action film together, but it was never completed. The unfinished footage later inspired the 2005 film Dus (with Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty) — the title and the 'dus number' spy plot were directly recycled from this abandoned project.
• During the shoot of Patthar Ke Phool (1991), Salman would drive Raveena home every night because she didn't have a car and the sets were far from her place. They stayed close friends for years, but by the time Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye (2000) released, they had drifted apart and barely spoke on set.
• Raveena Tandon once said about Salman: 'He was the one who taught me how to be comfortable in front of the camera. On Patthar Ke Phool, he'd whisper jokes between takes to keep me relaxed. I owe my first film's confidence to him.'
