• Nassar personally recommended Guru Somasundaram for his first big break in Jigarthanda (2014). Guru was a theatre actor with zero film experience. Nassar saw him in a play and told director Karthik Subbaraj: 'This guy has something. Cast him.' That one call launched Guru's film career.
• In Kuttrame Thandanai (2016), Nassar played a blind man and Guru played his caretaker. Guru would physically guide Nassar around the set between takes — not as a character, but as a real-life anchor. Nassar later said Guru's hands taught him how to 'see' without eyes.
