• Nassar personally called Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli after reading her script for Sutta Kadhai (2013). He told her he wanted to produce it — not just act in it. That call turned into their first film together.
• On the sets of Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka (2015), Nassar would quietly rewrite his own lines in Tamil slang mid-scene. Lakshmi Priyaa let him do it because she knew he understood the character's rhythm better than the written page. She never once stopped him.
• Odu Raja Odu (2018) was their first hit together. It directly launched the career of actor Vivek Prasanna — he was a relative unknown before that film. Nassar and Lakshmi Priyaa jointly cast him after a single audition.
• After every shoot day, Nassar and Lakshmi Priyaa would sit in her car and smoke one cigarette each, talking about everything except the film. She said it was their 'decompression ritual' — no phones, no crew, just silence and smoke.
• Lakshmi Priyaa once said in an interview: 'Nassar doesn't act in my films. He co-directs them with his eyes. I just write the lines.' She said this at the audio launch of Odu Raja Odu.
• For Oh Butterfly! (2026), Lakshmi Priyaa wrote the role specifically for Nassar before she even had a story. She told him: 'I'll build a film around you, just say yes.' He said yes without reading a single page.
