• They first met on the set of Azhagiya Asura (2006) when Nandita was just 14 and Regina was 16. The director cast them as sisters, and neither had done a Tamil film before — they learned the language together on set.
• In Nenjam Marappathillai (2017), Nandita played the ghost and Regina the living woman. They shot the climax scene for 14 hours straight because Regina kept laughing every time Nandita did the ghost walk — they had to lock eyes without breaking character.
• Between Azhagiya Asura and Seven, they didn't speak for nearly 10 years. They reconnected only when Seven's director insisted they meet for a coffee — and ended up talking for 4 hours about how awkward their teenage selves were.
• Seven (2019) was the first Tamil film where two women shared the lead without a male hero. Its success directly inspired the 2021 thriller 'Maya' — which also cast two actresses as the central pair.

• In Seven, they improvised the scene where their characters share a cigarette. Neither smokes in real life — so they kept coughing and laughing, and the director kept the take because it looked like real awkward bonding.
