• Tabu and Nana Patekar first worked together in 'Hu Tu Tu' (1999) because Nana specifically requested her for the role after seeing her in 'Maachis'. He told the director Gulzar that only Tabu could play the fiery politician's daughter with the right mix of vulnerability and steel.
