• Rao Ramesh and Naga Chaitanya first shared screen space in Dohchay (2015), but their real partnership kicked off when director Mohana Krishna Indraganti cast them together in Savyasachi (2018). Indraganti specifically wanted Rao Ramesh to play Chaitanya's father figure — a role that set the template for their next three films together.
• In Majili (2019), Rao Ramesh played Chaitanya's on-screen father. The film's emotional core — a strained father-son relationship — relied entirely on Rao Ramesh's deadpan delivery bouncing off Chaitanya's simmering anger. Chaitanya later said Rao Ramesh's timing forced him to hold back his own performance, making the silences louder.
