• Mahesh Vitta was a first-time director when he approached Posani Krishna Murali for '4 Letters' (2019). Posani, a veteran writer-actor, initially hesitated because the script was a youthful rom-com — far from his usual intense, dialogue-heavy roles. Mahesh convinced him by showing a single scene where Posani’s character delivers a quiet, emotional monologue. That scene became the film’s most talked-about moment.
• On the sets of 'Majili' (2019), Posani would rewrite his own lines on the spot, but Mahesh Vitta insisted he stick to the script. Posani later admitted in an interview that Mahesh’s discipline forced him to trust the director’s vision — something he rarely did with other filmmakers.
