• In 'Shivam' (2015), Jaya Prakash Reddy played the menacing villain while Saptagiri was the comic sidekick. Their scenes together worked because Reddy would deliver his lines with deadpan intensity, and Saptagiri would break the tension with a sudden, off-script stammer — the director kept the takes where Saptagiri caught Reddy off-guard.
• During the shoot of 'Anaganaga Oka Chitram' (2015), Saptagiri would deliberately mess up his lines to make Jaya Prakash Reddy laugh. Reddy, known for his stern on-screen persona, would break character and laugh so hard they had to retake the scene. The crew called it 'Saptagiri's revenge' for Reddy's intense stares.
• The director of 'Where Is Vidyabalan?' (2015) cast Jaya Prakash Reddy first, then asked him for suggestions for the comic relief role.
