• They first met on the set of Charas (2004), but almost didn't share a single scene. The director, Tigmanshu Dhulia, had to rewrite the climax to bring their characters together after seeing their off-camera chemistry during rehearsals.
• In P se Pyaar F se Farraar (2019), Shergill played the straight man to Mishra's chaos. Mishra improvised most of his dialogue, and Shergill would deliberately pause mid-sentence to let him jump in — a rhythm they built without ever discussing it.
• They have a standing bet on every film: whoever flubs the most lines buys chai for the entire crew. On P se Pyaar F se Farraar, Mishra lost so badly that Shergill still jokes he funded the unit's tea budget for a month.
