• Shreyas Talpade was the one who pushed for Tusshar Kapoor to be cast in 'Aggar' (2007). The director wanted a different actor, but Shreyas insisted Tusshar would bring the right creepy energy to the thriller. That film became their first pairing.
• In the 'Golmaal' series, Tusshar played the mute Lucky while Shreyas played the loud, hyper Laxman. Shreyas once said in an interview that he had to dial his energy way up because Tusshar couldn't speak — so he became the voice for both of them in every scene.
• During the shoot of 'Hum Tum Shabana' (2011), Shreyas and Tusshar shared a vanity van for the entire schedule. They developed a ritual of playing a round of carrom between takes — and whoever lost had to buy chai for the entire crew that day.
• Tusshar Kapoor once said about Shreyas: 'He’s the only co-actor who can make me laugh even when I’m supposed to keep a straight face. In Golmaal 3, I broke character three times because of him — and Rohit (Shetty) kept the takes in the final cut.'
• Their pairing in 'Golmaal Returns' (2008) directly led to Rohit Shetty casting both of them in every Golmaal sequel after that. Without their comic rhythm in that film, the franchise might not have built its signature double-act formula.
• In 'Kapkapiii' (2025), a horror-comedy, Shreyas and Tusshar swapped their usual roles — Shreyas played the scared one while Tusshar played the brave guy. They deliberately did this to keep their 18-year-old partnership fresh for audiences.
