• Rajendran was the one who pushed for Aishwarya Rajesh to be cast in Thirudan Police (2014). He had just worked with her in a small role and told the director she'd be perfect for the lead. The director took his word for it.
• In Mupparimanam (2017), Rajendran deliberately slowed down his comic timing to match Aishwarya's deadpan reactions. He said in an interview that her stillness made his jokes land harder — so he let her set the rhythm.
