• They first met on the set of 'Girlfriend' (2004), but Amrita almost didn't sign the film. She was hesitant about playing a lesbian role in a mainstream Bollywood movie. Aashish convinced her by saying the script was bold and worth the risk.
• In 'Fight Club: Members Only' (2006), Aashish and Amrita played a married couple. Their scenes together had a natural bickering rhythm — Aashish would deliberately flub his lines to make Amrita laugh, and the director kept those takes because they felt more real.
• During the shoot of 'Speed' (2007), Amrita was pregnant with her first child. Aashish would bring her homemade snacks between takes because she craved specific North Indian food. They still joke about his 'khana delivery service'.
