Gangotri(2007)
Gangotri is a 2007 Indian Bhojpuri-language action crime drama film directed by Abhishek Chhadha. The cast includes Amitabh Bachchan, Bhoomika Chawla, Manoj Tiwari, Singh Kunal, and Hema Malini. The story follows Thakur Vijay Singh, a kind landlord released from prison, who returns to find his brother Jaswant Singh ruling the village with cruelty. Jaswant Singh has trapped his daughter Gangotri in the house and forbids any man from looking at her. A young man named Bajrangi falls in love with Gangotri and tries to rescue her. The film is a sequel to Ganga (2006) and continues the same narrative of oppression and rebellion. It received a mixed critical response with an IMDb rating of 6.1/10. The film was released in India on November 16, 2007.

Storyline
A cruel father and his son terrorize a village and keep the daughter Gangotri locked away. No man is allowed to even look at her. A brave young man named Bajrangi falls in love with her and decides to rescue her. With help from the kind former landlord Thakur Vijay Singh, he must fight the family's deadly rage to free Gangotri and win her love.
