Chand Ke Paar Chalo(2006)
Chand Ke Paar Chalo is a 2006 Hindi romantic drama film directed by Mustafa Engineer in his directorial debut. The film stars Sahib Chopra and Preeti Jhangiani in lead roles, with Shakti Kapoor, Himani Shivpuri, and Alok Nath in supporting parts. Set in the hill station of Nainital, the story follows Chander, a tourist photographer who falls in love with a stage dancer named Nirmala. He sacrifices his livelihood to help her become a film star in Mumbai, but success changes her behavior. The film explores themes of love, betrayal, and the corrupting influence of fame. Storyline
Chander, a small-town photographer in Nainital, meets and falls in love with Nirmala, a beautiful stage dancer. He promises to take her to Mumbai and make her a star. He sells everything he owns to fund her dream. But when she becomes famous, she forgets him and throws him out of her life. Broken and alone, Chander must find the strength to start over.
