The Killer is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language black comedy action thriller film directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala and Raksha Mistry. It stars Emraan Hashmi, Irrfan Khan, and Nisha Kothari. The story follows a Dubai taxi driver who is taken hostage by a contract killer and forced to drive him around the city as he murders witnesses against a crime lord. An adaptation of the 2004 American film Collateral, the movie blends dark humor with tense action sequences. Despite strong performances from its lead actors, the film was a commercial failure upon its theatrical release on 21 July 2006.

Storyline
A simple taxi driver in Dubai picks up a charming passenger for a night fare. The passenger is a contract killer who takes the driver hostage. The driver is forced to drive the killer around the city as he murders witnesses one by one. The driver must find a way to survive the night and save the woman he loves.
