Dobara (2004) is a Hindi-language drama film directed by Shashi Ranjan in his directorial debut. The film stars Jackie Shroff, Mahima Chaudhry, and Raveena Tandon in lead roles. The story follows Ranbir, a writer whose peaceful married life is disrupted when his schizophrenic ex-girlfriend Ziya reappears. The narrative explores the strain on his marriage as he tries to help Ziya while maintaining his relationship with his wife Anjali. The film is notable for addressing mental illness in a mainstream Bollywood context during the early 2000s. Storyline

Ranbir is a successful writer happily married to Anjali.
