→Trivia
- The film was originally titled 'Lakeer: The Border' and was marketed as a modern take on the classic 'Deewar' rivalry.
- Actress Nauheed Cyrusi, who played Bindiya, was a former Miss India finalist and this was one of her earliest major film roles.
- Director Ahmed Khan was primarily known as a choreographer; this was his second and last directorial film after 'Fool N Final'.
- The movie's soundtrack, composed by Anand Raj Anand, included a popular remix of the 1970s Kishore Kumar song 'Pyar Do Pyar Lo'.
- It featured Sunny Deol and Suniel Shetty in lead roles, marking one of their few collaborations as brothers on screen.
- The film underperformed at the box office, ending Ahmed Khan's brief directing career and leading him back to choreography.
- A key action sequence was shot in Film City, Mumbai, using elaborate sets to depict a violent confrontation between the brothers.
