Dil Ka Rishta(2003)
Dil Ka Rishta is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language romance film directed by Naresh Malhotra. The lead cast includes Aishwarya Rai, Arjun Rampal, and Priyanshu Chatterjee, with Raakhee, Isha Koppikar, and Paresh Rawal in supporting roles. The story follows Jai Mehta, a wealthy philanthropist who falls in love with Tia Sharma, a teacher at a school for deaf children. After Tia marries another man, a drunk driving accident kills her husband and wipes her memory, forcing Jai to live with guilt and a painful lie. The film is a modern adaptation of the 1977 film Kinara. Its soundtrack, composed by Nadeem-Shravan, was the eighth highest-selling album of 2003 in India with over 1.4 million units sold. The film was released on 17 January 2003 and received mixed reviews from critics.

Storyline
Jai Mehta is a rich young man who falls in love with Tia, a teacher at a school he sponsors. But Tia is already engaged to Raj. After she marries Raj, a tragic car accident kills Raj and wipes Tia's memory. Jai, who caused the accident, must lie to Tia about her past while struggling with his own guilt.
